Celebrating the 49th store of the budget chain, among the gathered crowd were Mayor Kelly Kautz, along with a number of council members. Speaking at the launch event, Goodwill's PR director, Elaine Armstrong, said:
“We are thrilled to further extend our mission into Snellville with the opening of our second store in this city.”
The store, which helps get people into work from the cash spent or donations made at its cash registers, is located at 2340 Ronald Reagan Parkway. Stretching for around 12,000 square feet, shoppers have a host of products including Books, household items, and clothing to choose from.
Goodwill of North Georgia is also planning to open a further four new stores, having said it will open up six throughout the year. The second Snellville store is the second in that run, with the first opening last month in Dawsonville.
As well as bringing budget items to everyone, the store is committed to helping folks across North Georgia get into work, and it hopes the more locations it opens, the better its efforts will be.
In 2013, it helped over 11,000 people in the region find work. In addition, it assisted 29,000 with training and job placement.Get a Free Quote for Books
