A venue in Decatur will be putting on a show with two performers in mid-September.
Haley Heynderickx is a songwriter and singer. Her musical style is described as a blend of jazz radio and folk from the 1960s and 1970s. With her 2018 debut album entitled “I Need to Start a Garden,” she tells stories and evokes feelings of being both strong and powerless. Some of the tracks on the album include “No Face,” “Jo,” “The Bug Collector,” and “Show You a Body.”
Also on the schedule is LePonds, a folk singer who uses her voice and guitar to tell tales and talk about various emotional experiences. With two full albums and a pair of shorter records, plenty of these stories are available to hear. Some of the songs in her catalog include “Above Me,” “Please,” “Little Hound,” “Too Far Gone,” and “I Was Dancing with My Dream Team.”
Heynderickx will be headlining the show. At the time of writing, the available tickets come in a few options. For $20 plus fees, guests can reserve either one, two, or three tables. Each table seats four people. At 5:00 pm on the day of the event, attendees will be able to start choosing tables with help from the venue staff. Merchandise with a graphic design relating to the performers is often for sale at concerts.
The performance starts at 6:00 pm on September 11 at Eddie’s Attic.
