Decatur residents can safely enjoy food and shopping outdoors at the square on the next two Fab First Fridays, which give new meaning to a night out in Decatur.
Many local restaurants on East Court Square, Sycamore Street and Ponce will have expanded patios. Customers can also order food and eat on the sidewalk. If the weather permits, restaurants will provide outdoor seating with full table service. Alternatively, customers can order take out and enjoy their meal at home or in any of the outdoor seating spaces available on the plaza.
This event will also feature an open-air market on the plaza. Weather permitting, local businesses will put up tents on the plaza and in front of their stores. The event will provide reduced prices and deals for customers from participating retailers and restaurants. A mask is required to visit and participate in the event, and Decatur Visitors Center will sell facemasks with the city Logo Design.
This event is an opportunity to support and buy from local businesses. At such events, businesses are likely to advertise special deals or offers by using poster printing.
