The DeKalb County Public Library in Decatur, Georgia will be hosting an opportunity to meet with the author of the King of Scars, Leigh Bardugo.
To celebrate her new novel, Bardugo has been going on a national tour and meeting with fans of the series. Everyone who attends the event can have their copy of the King of Scars personally signed by Bardugo, as well as the chance of taking a picture with the famous New York Times bestselling author. She will be available for answering any questions that attendees have about writing her series before the book signing begins.
In addition to meeting Bardugo, fans are welcome to arrive earlier to meet up with other loyal readers for games and activities. Trivia games based on the series will be played, and the library has partnered with Macmillan Publishers to create a background inspired by the King of Scars for those interested in having a photo shoot. Cosplay of different characters from Bardugo’s Grishaverse is encouraged.
The fan activities will begin at 4:00 pm, while the book signing and author meet and greet will start at 5:00 pm. Tickets cost $21.59, which includes a copy of the King of Scars and admission to the event. Attendees can either pay for their tickets online or at the door.
