An upcoming Decatur event will teach citizens about the new concept of “Micro Activism,” which is geared around small actions can make major, positive changes on a community.
The event will featured Omkari Williams, author “Micro Activism: How You Can Make a Difference in the World (Without a Bullhorn).”
The event will be hosted by Britini Louise. In addition to discussing the book, the interview will discuss Williams’ experience in the space of activism and political consulting. Williams will discuss what she learned during her thirty years in this field and relay how individuals can view activism from the perspective of making small changes that have major impacts, rather than being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of possible changes and needs for changes over time.
Individuals will also be able to buy Books and have them signed by Williams. Books can make excellent personal or Corporate Gifts.
Participants have two options if they want to take part in the event: They can attend in person or online. The event is free either way.
