Planet Fitness, a fitness and workout chain, recently announced that its first club in Snellville will be opening this fall.
According to Mike Rymsha, Regional Manager for Planet Fitness, the company is excited about bringing its Judgement Free Zone to Snellville. He adds that this will enable more people in the Atlanta area to have a non-intimidating yet high-quality experience without breaking the bank.
Beginning this month, people will be able to register for gym memberships online. There will be a special offer of a $1 signup fee and then a $10 monthly fee. The membership fee will also include a trainer providing unlimited small group fitness instruction, Monday evenings of free pizza, and second Tuesdays of free bagels.
The new location in Snellville is about 26,000 sq. ft. in size and will have strength equipment, cardio machines, fully equipped locker rooms, tanning booths, and massage chairs. From Monday at midnight through Friday at 9:00 pm, the facility will be open and fully staffed 24 hours a day. On Saturday and Sunday, the hours will be from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
