Thanksgiving weekend celebrated at Orlando car show

The Central Florida International Auto Show opens its doors on Thanksgiving Day to reveal the latest in automotive technology.

More than 400 vehicles will be on display at the Orlando Car Show. The popular event gives everyone the opportunity to see the designs from 18 manufacturers. Test drives of some of the vehicles will be available during the event. Children’s events begin on Friday with face painting, balloon animals, and more. Children can get behind the wheel of mini electric cars, climb the rock wall, or jump on the bungee-trampolines.

Guests can see the inventory of exotic vehicles on display. Another worthwhile stop during the convention is the showcase of local emergency vehicles. The convention will include a collection of vintage automobiles, pre-production models, and more. Showcases like this are often highlighted through brochure printing.

The show opens at noon on Thanksgiving Day, November 22 and runs until 6:00 pm on November 25th. Visit the website for event hours, the dates and times of all test drives, and to buy tickets.

The cost of admission is $10 for those 13 and over and free for children aged 12 and under when with a paying adult. Seniors, members of the military with an ID and students under 21 with a school ID qualify for a discounted $5 ticket. The Orange County Convention Center is located at 9400 International Drive in Orlando.
