The Orange County Regional History Center has a new exhibit titled “Orlando Collected” to honor the 150th anniversary of the city of Orlando.
New exhibits can benefit from poster printing and other printing services to promote them throughout a city.
This exhibit offers a glimpse into some of the rarely seen and most fascinating items of the history of the city. Orlando was incorporated into a city in 1875. At that time, it had a population of 85 people. It has now grown into a diverse and vibrant community of over 300,000 people.
Individuals, community organizations, and local historians have contributed to this exhibit, which reveals the complex stories of the community. The exhibit includes documents, artifacts, and photographs which weave an intricate tapestry of the history of the city.
“Orlando Collected” includes 150 items selected from the archive of the Historical Society of Central Florida. Organizations and individuals throughout the city of Orlando have collaborated to curate this exhibit which enables the exhibit to reflect the rich history of the city through a variety of perspectives.
The exhibit is open to the public at the Orange County Regional History Center on East Central Boulevard until Sunday January 11, 2026. Its hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
