The 11th Annual Indie Folkfest will be coming to the Mennello Museum of American Art in Orlando. This is a lively celebration of art, music, and the community.
There will be a lineup of musicians from the local area that will include Beemo, Skinny McGee and the Handshakes, Beth McKee and Her Funky Time Band, Claire Vandiver, and Eugene Snowden. These live musical performances led by an emcee will feature indie and folk sounds.
There will also be a wide range of engaging activities for people of all ages that will feature art project stations, yard games, and a raffle station with prizes donated by local attractions and businesses. Delicious food and beverages will also be featured at the Folkfest with cuisine from Good Pour Wine Truck, Gnarly Cuban, Smile Ice Cream, the Guesthouse, Hebni Nutrition, and the Rock Paper Scissors Eat Food Truck.
The Appointed Board of Trustees of the museum is gifting this free event to the community. A contribution from the proceeds from the festival will go towards family-friendly and educational programs of the Mennello Museum of American Art.
Special and unique events like this can be promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities with poster printing.
The Folkfest will be from noon to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14 at the Marilyn L. Mennello Sculpture Garden on E. Princeton Street in Orlando.
