The Southeast Community and Government Center will be built by the city of Orlando to address the need for enhanced accessibility to recreational, safety, and informational services. It will be west of Narcoossee Road on Dowden Road.

This will become a focal point for the community and will serve as a place for residents to find a wide range of information and services important for their engagement and well-being. The Center will span about 15,000 square feet. Featured at the Center will be many meeting rooms for the public which will provide enough space for discussions and gatherings of residents as well as multigenerational classrooms.
In addition, as a regional police substation, it will enable coordination to be enhanced among the 17 police districts in the southeast Orlando area. During emergencies, such as hurricanes or other natural or man-made disasters it will also serve as a center for field operations. It will be equipped with emergency power and fortified against security threats and natural calamities to ensure that all essential services can be continued.
During emergencies, the Center will function as a key hub for critical services and community assistance, including the distribution of emergency food, water, vaccines, and other essential resources to support southeast area residents when they need it most.
