An upcoming weekend event is looking to bring together Orlando’s lovers of Mexican food for a dedicated tribute to the humble taco.
The Orlando Taco Festival will see over 75 varieties of tacos presented from over 30 of Florida’s best restaurants and food trucks. The festival has set a standard price of $3 a taco, so it will be possible to have a full belly on a budget. Other Mexican food items like churros, tamales, and nachos will also be available, as will signature drinks like margaritas, mojitos and tequila.
The venue will also feature more than 100 TVs for sports viewing and a live virtual golf game. Other attractions include lucha libre (the colorful Mexican style of pro wrestling), mechanical bull riding, and a kid-friendly fun zone.
Announced vendors include Mexi Cocina Mobile Kitchen, Oh Que Pena, and Tacos De Carne Estrada. The Orlando Taco Festival will take place on February 29 and March 1 at Drive Shack Orlando.
