Universal Orlando has many events planned to celebrate the holidays.
Every night, some of the same larger-than-life balloons that were in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, accompanied by fantasy-filled floats and various holiday characters, will be on parade at Universal Studios Florida. Santa Claus will light the tree and there will be a new Tom Turkey Balloonicle, which is a towering balloon and self-powered hybrid vehicle.
Mannheim Steamroller will be performing live musical concerts every weekend in December on the Music Plaza stage in Universal Studios.
On the Island of Adventure, visitors will be able to enjoy ‘Grinchmas, a Who-liday Spectacular’. This will be a live retelling of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” by Dr. Suess, with The Grinch himself and the Whos from Who-ville featuring.
Every weekend in December, and the week before and after Christmas, part of Grinchmas will also offer The Grinch and Friends Character Breakfast. Attendees of this special meal will be able to select from a menu of breakfast entrée options, including Green Eggs and Ham Platter, and also get a photo with The Grinch and have an opportunity to pick up autographs and other photographs with Dr. Seuss characters, which they may want to send back home to their friends and family through the help of postcard printing.
