The Rebel Rock Festival will return to Orlando this September for a weekend of hard rock as well as other experiences.
The opening night of the festival will feature Danish rock band Volbeat and rap-rock group P. O. D. The Friday night concert will be headlined by contemporary star Machine Gun Kelly and nu-metal pioneers Limp Bizkit, while Saturday will include 2000s hitmakers Papa Roach and Five Finger Death Punch alongside hard rock veterans Killswitch Engage and August Burns Red. The festival will conclude with performances by punk rock veterans The Used, Rise Against, and Anti-Flag. The festival is an all-ages event, and traditional rock celebrations like moshing and crowd surfing will be allowed.
Each night will also feature several other acts, allowing visitors to wander between stages and be exposed to new groups. Going on around the weekend will be a broader “experience” including performances by BMX riders, a Taco Metal Party hosted by Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin, and food and drink trucks operating throughout the festival. Festivals like these, known for colorful poster printing and other marketing, have become popular as a way for music fans to experience both old favorites and up-and-comers. The festival was canceled in 2020, with tickets rolling over to this year’s events.
The Rebel Rock Festival will take place between September 23 and 26 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando.
