The event will feature a separate set of dozens of DJs and musicians on each of its three days. The line-up includes names like DJ Anime, Green Velvet Presents La La Land, and Cat Dealers 828 Dubdogz. Unlike other festivals, EDC eschews official headliners and promotes an egalitarian approach, with the poster printing including all artists in alphabetical order in the same size font. The festival suggests that this is part of a broader philosophy, with the website saying:
“In this place, we affirm that we are kindred spirits bound by deep passion—not only for the music we love, but for the community that surrounds it. That community is why we are here. You are the heart of EDC. YOU are the Headliner.”
The artists will perform across multiple unique stages meant to integrate with the surrounding environment, with dedicated names like kineticFIELD, neonGARDEN, and the roving Wide Awake Art Car. The Carnival is complete with full-sized midway rides, including a Ferris wheel and more extreme thrills. There will also be dedicated art installations, combining natural flora and fauna with LED lights and other technology. “Funkdafied Freaks”, including circus performers, dancers, and aerialists, will roam the park. Tickets are sold for individual nights or as part of broader packages.
The 2021 edition of the Electronic Daisy Festival is scheduled to take place between November 12 and 14 at Tinker Field.
