Boozehounds Dog Bar will be opening this summer in the Orlando area.
The idea is the brainchild of Paul Jaszczenski and Lainie Pekich, who realised that it was difficult to find somewhere where both they and their pet dog Kaia were happy and entertained, and decided to create a place where everyone could be happy.
Although their concept is not unique in the United States, it is the first in the area. Owners of establishments with a difference sometimes obtain Promotional Products from local Print shops to sell to those visiting the restaurant as mementos of their visit.
The dogs will be allowed to run free in fenced areas, and owners are also welcome to have their dogs at their side while enjoying a cold beverage. State law requires all dogs not in a fenced area to be on a leash, and since the owners need to keep a record of pets not on a leash, those wishing to use that area will need to purchase a daily membership for $10.
Yearly memberships are available as well for $140.
Pet owners can take advantage of many great outdoor spaces where they can watch their pets and enjoy a cold beverage. They plan to have food trucks on site as well.
Boozehounds Dog Bar will be located at 5501 S. Orange Ave in Orlando. The opening is scheduled to occur in the summer of 2019.
