A family-friendly Wilmington Street Food Festival will be coming to the Delaware Riverfront next weekend.
At the Street Festival, local restaurants and food trucks will be offering items for $5 or less, so festival attendees may taste as many of the city’s specialty samples as possible. Some vendors will be selling international fare. Along with the food, the festival will have general vendors, live entertainment in various areas around the venue, a beer garden, an axe throwing trailer, games, mechanical bull riding, and eating challenges and contests. There will also be a bean toss tournament.
General admission will be $14.99 and will include one free drink (water, seltzer, soda, or beer). VIP $54.99 early bird tickets will include early entry at noon, a two-hour open bar, a cheese fry voucher, $10 food vouchers, and a custom signature keepsake featuring this year’s Wilmington Street Food Festival graphic design. Children under 10 years old will get free admission.
Wilmington Street Food Festival will take place next Saturday, June 4, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tubman Garrett Riverfront Park, 80 Rosa Parks Drive. Vendors will use the normal cash/credit system.
The organizers advise that this is a rain-or-shine event that will take place partly indoors, party outdoors, and thus sales are final with no refunds or exchanges system in place.
