Riverfront holds food festival
The Delaware Riverfront will be full of gastronomic delights offered by more than 25 local food trucks and restaurants when the Wilmington Street Food Festival comes in mid-July.
All food will be $5 or less, so guests may try as many different items as possible from as many food vendors as possible. There will be a Cheese Fry Fountain & Bar, Foods from Around the World, and crazy eating challenges.
The venue will also offer live entertainment and activities such as mechanical bull riding, ace throwing, and a breakdancing expo. Activities such as Yoga in the Park and games such as the cornhole tournament will be available for all ages. Kids can enjoy a Kids Fun Zone featuring bounce houses and face painters. Guests may also meander through a general vendor market.
People who attend festivals like this often collect vendor business cards from those they may want to visit in the future.
Daily general admission tickets are $9.99 and include entry to the festival, and one free drink ticket.
Early Bird Saturday ($54.99) and Sunday ($49.99) VIP tickets include early admission at noon, admission to the VIP area, free hard seltzer sampling, a VIP gift bag containing a commemorative keepsake and giveaways, and vouchers for food, drinks, and axe-throwing. Tickets also include 25% off merchandise sporting this year’s event graphic design.
Wilmington Street Food Festival will take place July 15 from 2:00 pm to July 16th at 8:00 pm at Tubman Garret Riverfront Park, Rosa Parks Drive.
