What's Happening in Wilmington, DE…

Children will be able to learn how to create structures out of everyday items this weekend, as a ‘Block Party’ workshop comes to Wilmington.

The Delaware Children’s Museum may have used a selection of flyer printing and poster printing services to promote this constructive day for kids in the local area.

Kids taking part will be able to use a selection of architectural items, plastic tubes, and foam blocks to create such model items as streets, airports, houses, and schools found in the areas familiar to them. There will be an opportunity to create a massive rollercoaster, using paint balls and a number of giant blue blocks to build the tallest structure possible fit plenty of turns, twists, and drops onto the route. Once completed, the children’s paint balls will travel down the roller coaster and it will be timed to see how long the journey takes from start to finish.

The Block Party will be happening tomorrow, April 27, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Delaware Children’s Museum located at 550 Justison Street in Wilmington, Delaware.
