Harvest festival celebrates a perfect ten

This is the 10th Annual Harvest Festival gets underway today in Wilmington and will run next weekend as well. Providing couples with an opportunity to spend some quality time together outdoors before the cold days of winter set in, this celebration is said to be a “stomping good time” and features some of the best wines in the area.

With summer’s busy season now a distant memory, there’s a lot to be said for planning a nice day outdoors and enjoying some sounds and sights happening during the harvest season at seven of the local wineries located along the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail. Grapes will be dangling from the vines as the harvesting commences and guests will enjoy watching the activities and making use of the relaxing pastoral panoramas for picnicking and sipping drinks, as live music permeates the air.

While visiting, guests will enjoy wine-tasting, dancing, BBQs, romantic hayrides through the vineyards, wine tours, and a special chance to learn all about the region. Passports for the event can be purchased through any of the wineries participating in this festival or online through the online store. Each passport costs $20 and comes with a commemorate wine.

Poster printing and brochure printing may have been used by this group to promote the festival to people in the community and surrounding counties. The ‘Annual Harvest Festival’ runs from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm today (September 29), tomorrow, and next Saturday and Sunday at the Brandy Valley Wine Trail located at 632 Baltimore Pike in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, just a short drive from Wilmington, Delaware.
