The Newtown Theatre will be holding an event in June where multiple storytellers will talk about risk and transformation.
An Afternoon of Storytelling: Tales of Risk and Transformation is a special performance where guests will hear five storytellers explore the human experience through their presentations. The performers for the show are Robin Moore, Ed Stivender, Charlotte Blake Alston, Debra Pieri, and a duo performance from Quiet Riot, which is a group consisting of Bill Mettler and David Mettler. The venue’s concession stand will be open for patrons during the show.
The Newtown Theatre is an entertainment facility initially built in 1831 as a location for town gatherings. The destination’s purpose transitioned to hosting activities such as social dances and magic lantern shows during the early 1850s. People can watch modern and older movies at the theater, including Dune, Ghost, and High Society. Entertainment venues similar to this may use poster printing to tell patrons about their upcoming events.
An Afternoon of Storytelling: Tales of Risk and Transformation will be held on Sunday, June 12 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Tickets to the show can be bought for $15. Members of the Newtown Theatre will only need to pay $12 to enter. All ticket sales for the performance are non-refundable. Doors will open to viewers at 1:00 pm.
