Newtown Business Association (NBA) is hosting the annual Newtown Antique and Classic Car Show this July.
The show will feature more than 150 vehicles. These cars and trucks are either at least 25 years old, have been modified or customized or are more modern vehicles that are of special interest to car enthusiasts. Food trucks will be open, and a DJ will be playing music throughout the event. The show is free to attend, and parking will be available in multiple locations nearby.
Car owners interested in entering their vehicles can register on NBA’s website now. The fee is $25 and will increase to $35 after July 20. Entrants should select the correct vehicle class. Vehicles will be organized by decade unless they fit into the foreign, custom/modified or special interest categories.
Registration is also open for food trucks and sponsors. The food truck fee is $175, and sponsorship packages range from $50 to $5000. Organizers often use printing services to create Signs to recognize sponsors at this type of event. NBA is also looking for volunteers to help with setup, cleanup and directing cars to their spots. Those interested can sign up on NBA’s website.
The car show will be on Sunday, July 26, from 10 am to 3 pm, in the center of Newtown on State Street. The rain date will be the following Sunday, August 2.
