Newtown Theatre is running its fourth annual Holiday Cocktail Trail this November.
Participants will start the afternoon by checking in at Newtown Theatre and picking up their event glass and trail “passport.” This passport lists all the participating shops and any specials they are offering. Businesses often use poster printing services to advertise their special discounts and promotions during this type of event. Each of the 15 stops will have a sample-sized cocktail and the recipe for making the drink at home. The final list of shops hosting a cocktail stop will be published soon.
Tickets are available on the Theatre’s website for $54.99. All participants need to be at least aged 21. The theater will not issue refunds, but tickets can be transferred to another person. Free parking can be found in municipal lots by Newtown Borough Hall and between Washington and Centre Avenues. Parking on State Street is also free. Food is not included in the ticket price, but a list of restaurants that will be serving lunch during the event is available on the theater’s website.
Proceeds from the Cocktail Trail will go toward the Newtown Theatre, including building maintenance, staff and programs. The non-profit theater hosts a variety of events, including films, concerts, comedy shows and live theater performances.
The Holiday Cocktail Trail will be on Saturday, November 21, from 12 pm to 4 pm.
