Novel store concept celebrates new exhibit

Art and Sound Gallery in Greenwich recently changed its founding exhibit and will be holding an opening celebration of the new collection very soon.

The gallery is a hybrid retail concept featuring video and audio products, including wireless accessories from Sonos, premium earphones from Master & Dynamic, custom-made turntables and other audio appliances, Tavish Design audio equipment, and various known brands across the country that are rarely seen in major stores.

According to Art Powers Jr., who is an audio/video systems designer and owner of the store, whole house custom audio and video solutions are presented in the store so that customers will experience this blend of the audio, visual and environmental art. Displays are created by local artists, which makes special opening celebrations a way of uniting the community.

Powers has 35 years of experience in the high-end custom home audio and video integration business.

The new exhibit will feature a variety of photographic media, from photographs printed on glass, digital photography, and mixed media photo-collage, to silver gelatin prints that are centered on the Greenwich community.

Powers could work with a flyer printing company to create a handout for distribution in the community about the new exhibit, perhaps including a coupon to draw new visitors to the establishment. The reception will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm this Sunday, April 3.
