Abigail Anders will be the new assistant principal at the North Mianus School, which is part of the Greenwich Public Schools (GPS), and is due to start her position today (July 1).
Anders will be replacing Kathleen Ramirez, who will become the principal for the school as of today.
Among Anders’ responsibilities will be to assist in the development and achievement of school objectives and goals, advocate on behalf of students, and support the entire community of North Mianus. Such appointments often have a need for business card printing services.
Anders started working in the GPS in 2013 as a teacher of third and fifth grade at International School at Dundee and a teacher of fifth grade at the Greenwich Remote Learning School. She was the elementary site supervisor for summer school at New Lebanon and Glenville for the past two summers.
Dr. Tori Jones, superintendent of the GPS, said that Anders is hard-working and caring educator and is respected by everyone around her. Jones added that her experience in the GPS has shown her to be an asset to everyone at North Mianus with her work on the Extended School Year program, and with the Special Education Advisory Council.
Ramirez also expressed her thrill that Anders will be joining the team at North Mianus and said she is looking forward to collaborating with her.
