Greenwich to host seasonal events this month

As part of its ‘Candlelight: A Festive Free Family Event’, the Greenwich Historical Society will be offering free tours of the Bush-Holley House, covering the traditions of Christmas as they were celebrated by the Holley and Bush families.

Tours begin in the Vanderbilt Education Center, where there will also be refreshments, craft-making with a winter theme, and live music. Santa Claus will also be making a special guest appearance. This event will take place tomorrow, December 16, beginning at 5:00 pm.

Also on Sunday, December 16, beginning at 5:00 pm, the Carol’s by Candlelight concert will be presented by the Christ Church Greenwich. There will be a Bell Choir Prelude prior to the concert, which will include carols sung by the combined Choirs of Christ Church Greenwich.

Throughout the month of December, the Bruce Museum will be hosting Family Gallery Tours, designed specifically for those between the ages of 6 and 10. Remaining tours this month will be on December 16, December 23, and December 30.

A Court of Honor will be held by the Greenwich Boy Scouts of America Troop 9 in recognition of its 100th anniversary. It will be held at the Second Congregational Church on December 17 and is open to the public.

Such festive events as these could benefit from banner printing to promote themselves to everyone throughout the community.
