The annual Concours Americana hosted by the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance and the Concours International are coming to Greenwich at the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. There will be over 100
distinctive motorcycles and automobiles on the show field each day that span over 100 years.
The 50th anniversary of Ford’s victory in 1966 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be marked with a display of Ford performance cars at the Concours Americana. Also featured will be the Ford GT40 Mk IV which Bruce McLaren and Mark Donahue drove into fourth place at the Le Mans that year; cars from the 1950s; classics from before World War II; early Harley-Davidson motorcycles; and many other rare and amazing vehicles.
At the Concours International, BMW will celebrate its 100th anniversary, exhibiting some historic vehicles, including a rare 1937 BMW 328 MM Bügelfalte. There will also be a collection of Ferraris, Porsches, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
The Greenwich Concours Auction will have viewings on the first day, with bidding taking place the second day. It will be hosted by Bonhams, which will have most likely used a catalog printing company for the catalog and ticket that are required for admission to the auction.
The Concours Americana will be held on Saturday June 4 and the Concours International will be held this Sunday June 5, with hours of 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.
