The Perrot Memorial Library in Greenwich will be hosting free and fun classes for young children over the next several months.
Such libraries often turn to poster printing services to promote their activities throughout the community, and provide more information about signing up for such events.
A new program this year is Wednesday Storytime which will be held at 5:00 pm. Pre-schoolers and young children will be able to enjoy songs and stories while their caregivers and parents are preparing dinner, or they need an activity to keep them busy late in the afternoon. Mr. Jim, music teacher and guitarist, will be returning for an afternoon singalong and dance party for children of all ages on Thursdays at 4:30 pm.
Another activity is Babies and Toddlers Together for those up to the age of 24 months. This will be on Tuesdays at 10:00 am and is designed to develop literacy and language in the very young with songs, stories, and rhymes. Stuff and Nonsense will be held for those in kindergarten and first grade and will feature stories and a craft; this will be held Mondays at 4:00 p.m.
Finally, for those in grades two through four, Spotlight will feature non-fiction Books and stories, as well as a craft, with the theme changing each season. This will be held on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm.
