The annual Golf Outing at the Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich will be hosted this month by the Children's Learning Centers (CLC) of Fairfield County. This will be the sixth year of the outing.
The outing will include golf, cocktails, and food as those who participate in the outing support the work of the CLC. A shotgun start will begin the day at 1:00 pm. Lunch and dinner, as well as all fees for the green, golf, on-course contests, and a reception (including a live and silent auction featuring unique experiences and items) will be part of the day. Poster printing is often used to promote such outings and their fundraising efforts.
Among the contests to be held will be the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and a Hole-in-One where attendees have the chance to demonstrate their skills on the third hole and win $50,000 sponsored by Cadillac of Greenwich. Other sponsors of the outing include Marathon Asset Management as presenting sponsor; Dorian LPG, LAZ Parking; and Mavis Discount as title sponsors; and Blavatnick Family Foundation, and Moffly Media/Stamford Magazine, and Ellington Management Group LLC as additional sponsors.
The Golf Outing will be on Monday, September 12 at the Tamarack Country Club on 55 Locust Road. Tamarack is ranked number five in the state of Connecticut by Golf Digest.
