Chairman and chief executive officer of iCapital, Lawrence Calcano, expressed his thrill in being able to add so many talented people to the team. Noting that everyone is dedicated to providing the latest innovative technology, he said these new employees will enable the company to continue to provide new opportunities in the wealth management industry so that investors can meet their goals.

Calcano has been CEO of the company since 2014 and is a resident of Greenwich. Describing Greenwich as a “financial capital,” he paid tribute to its incredible pool of talent that will help to make the company better.

iCapital opened its office at 2 Greenwich Plaza in Greenwich in September 2021. It is next to the Metro-North railroad station in the downtown area. The office spans close to 65,000 square feet and has about 130 employees at present. The technology platform of iCapital is used by wealth and asset managers to support the servicing and establishment of alternative investments such as private equity, hedge funds, and private capital.
