The featured speaker for the Women Who Matter series, presented by the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, will be Joan Lunden. Her talk will be part of a special luncheon next month.
Women who have a major impact on the community and beyond, and who have made a difference in people’s lives, are celebrated in the Women Who Matter luncheon. The speaker needs to be one who is based in Greenwich and that is to focus on not just their own background, but also what is important to them and how that has contributed to their success. Both women and men can attend the luncheon.
The price is $100 a ticket and $950 for a table of 10. Sponsorships are also available at several levels, ranging from $100 to $1,500. Such sponsorships often include a business Logo Design in a table brochure, or on other event-related materials.
Lunden will talk about her latest book, which covers the topic of aging and how it can be approached with resilience and humor. A free copy of the book will be given to every attendee. Lunden is a best-selling author, journalist, advocate for women’s health and wellness, and motivational speaker. She has been in American homes as a trusted voice for over 30 years.
The Women Who Matter Luncheon will be held at the Greenwich Country Club from 1:30 am to 2:00 pm on Friday, April 3.
