Mary Dolan Collette has been selected as the interim assistant principal at the Riverside School in Greenwich.
Such appointments often call for the need for business card printing services.
Collette will support the Riverside community along with Principal Christopher Weiss, work towards the achievement and development of school objectives and goals, and advocate for all students and the school district. She replaces Eugene Matejek, who became the special education coordinator in November. Principal Weiss expressed his thrill in welcoming Colette as the interim assistant principal.
Collette has been teaching since 1993. For the past six years she has been an elementary program facilitator at North Stratfield Elementary School as part of the Fairfield Public Schools. She was also the summer school principal at Fairfield from 2017 through 2022, during which time she focused on summer boost programs and early literacy while also supervising staff.
Dr. Toni Jones, Superintendent of Greenwich Public Schools, said that Collete is welcomed to the Greenwich Public Schools, which is a premiere destination in the region for educators. Jones added that Collette has proven herself to be a leader in education in the state with experience as both a teacher in the classroom and as an administrator. Jones said that she will be an asset to the entire community of Riverside.
Collette will begin her position on Tuesday January 2.
