The Starwich Club in Greenwich will be holding its golf tournament for Lyme Research Alliance (LRA) for the third consecutive year in just over a week.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Alliance for research and the quest to find a cure for Lyme and other disease caused by ticks. Last year’s tournament raised $80,000 for the mission of the LRA.
A member of the Golf Committee, Robert Bel Bruno, commented that the organization is proud to be able to support this cause and to be holding the event at Stanwick; a private club with an 18-hole golf course that covers 450 acres and has been rated by New England Golf Monthly as the best in Connecticut.
The Committee may be working with local Print companies to Print Flyers to distribute in the community with more information about the tournament and the cause it is championing.
The Executive Women’s Golf Association, Greenwich Hospital, and Pepe Infiniti of White Plains are a few of the sponsors of the event.
The Tournament will be held on Thursday, October 9, with registration and warm-up at 11:00 am. A lunch buffet will be served on the clubhouse terrace and the official start is at 12:30 pm. Afterwards, there will be a cocktail reception, auction, dinner, and awards ceremony for the attendees to enjoy.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Print
