Local wrestling promotion Blitzkrieg Pro has announced it will be returning to Enfield this October, bringing with it some of the top independent wrestlers today.
The show is dubbed “Cool To Be You”, and features the debut of former WWE wrestler Donovan Dijak, who got his start on the New England independents. Also confirmed for the event are current top up-and-comers like Alec Price, Kevin Blackwood and CPA. The announced wrestlers will join local talent from the New England area and beyond, with shows typically featuring several matches. Select matches will also be uploaded to the promotion’s YouTube channel.
Blitzkrieg Pro was last in Enfield in June for its “Luau” event, where Dijak made his first independent appearance after his extensive run in WWE. The group uses a punk rock aesthetic and inspiration for its shows, at times including musical acts along with wrestling matches. All tickets must be purchase digitally and on a will-call basis. Independent wrestling shows like this often use banner printing and audio-visual set-ups to create a major-league atmosphere while providing an intimate crow environment.
Blitzkrieg Pro’s Cool To Be You will take place at Old Country Banquets in Enfield on October 4. The promotion has also announced it will be making a quick return to Enfield on November 16 for a show titled “Black No. 1.”
