The Gala will take place in the company’s traditional hardwood ballroom. There will be a showcase for regular students in the ballroom dancing program, allowing them to show off what they have learned throughout the year. For those with less ballroom experience, there will be a lesson featuring the basics of traditional dancing styles.
Visitors can also enjoy a holiday dinner and drinks, and enter into raffles for prizes. The Holiday Gala is one of a series of themed dance events hosted by the EdanSe company throughout the year, typically once or twice a month. Previous themes include Country Night and Commonwealth Classic, sometimes featuring competitive dancing.
Music featured at the event will include a variety of styles such as classical, Latin, and country, along with classic holiday music and modern favourites.
