Friends of the Brothers, an Allman Brothers Tribute Band, will be performing near Enfield this March.
The Allman Brothers Band was a blues, rock, country, and blues focused musical group formed in Jacksonville, Florida. They are known for classic rock staples such as 'Jessica' and 'Ramblin' Man'. Throughout their career, seven of their albums achieved gold status and four reached platinum status. Rolling Stone placed the group at 52nd in their 100 Greatest Artists of All Time list. They were also inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.
Each member of the Friends of the Brothers group has had genuine experience with the Allman Brothers band. Seven of them have performed with members of the band. One has written a biography (based on 25 years of reporting) about the group. This has since become a best-seller. Through this, alongside all of their knowledge of what makes the band's music tick, they regularly attract high turnouts.
The performance will take place on Saturday, March 5th at 7:00 pm. The venue, the Broad Brook Opera House, is located at 107 Main St. East Windsor in East Windsor, only about a quarter of an hour’s drive from Enfield.
