Reptile education event comes to Enfield Library

An event featuring a variety of reptilian creatures and reptile experts will come to the Enfield Library in late December.

Guests will be able to interact with live reptilian creatures, as well as learn some facts about these cold-blooded creatures, including how they take care of themselves in the winter and, likely, their importance in the world’s natural ecosystem. The creatures and experts will come from Riverside Reptiles, which is an indoor reptile and amphibian zoo in Enfield at 132 South Road.

Riverside Reptiles is primarily focused on education and conservation initiatives. It is owned and operated by biologist Brian Kleinmann, who opened the center last January. The zoo’s residents include 50 different species, including many different varieties of snakes, lizards, and turtles, as well as crocodiles. Currently, the zoo is offering many virtual and outreach programs for children and adults of all ages, as well as many other on-site activities. These include private tours, zookeeper experiences, birthday parties, and more. More information can be found below the Logo Design on the website.

The event will take place on Monday, December 27 from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm. It will be held at the Central Library, which is located at 104 Middle Road. Those looking for more info can call the library at 860-763-7510 or visit the Riverside Reptiles website.
