The Broad Brook Opera House will be the site of a Jerry Day concert next month.
Residents from throughout Connecticut are welcome to attend, including the cities of Enfield, Springfield, and Hartford.
The Jerry Day concert will open at 4:00 PM with a special Shakedown Street event, held outside the opera house. Saison and Frankel will perform a live tribute to the music of Garcia Grisman. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop at the market, where concert merchandise, crafts and wares will be available from local vendors. Some vendors may choose to distribute Promotional Products, and souvenirs during the street market. Food will be available for purchase outside the concert as well, exclusively supplied by Craftbird food trucks. Live portraits will be painted by the show’s onsite artist, Anthony Zito.
The Timber Room doors will open at 6:00 PM with cocktails and beverages available for purchase. Showtime will begin at 6:30 PM, when Stealhead takes the stage in the opera house. The concert will continue with a special two-set performance by Shakedown, beginning at 8:30 PM.
The Jerry Day concert at the Broad Brook Opera House will be held on Saturday, July 31. Tickets cost $40 each, and are available on Eventbrite. Attendees must be 21 years and older to attend the event. Seating is limited at the venue, and will be provided as ticket holders arrive. The Broad Brook Opera House is located at 107 Main Street.
