There are two musical performances occurring in Enfield on the same day.
The musical fundraiser I Can't Believe It's Not Muster will take place at Powder Mill Barn, a historic location. This is the second year of the event hosted by Warehouse Point and features The Company Fifers and Drummers.
Along with music, there will be several raffles, a bonfire, and food available. Guests must bring their own beer. They can also camp there if desired. The camping space opens at 10am on Saturday and closes the next day at noon. Donations of $10 or more are appreciated and will go toward repairs and remodel of the barn. Guests can also donate towards the raffles.
Founded in 1965, the Company Fifers and Drummers work to preserve fife and drum music as a tradition and a significant part of the history of folk music. Their goal is to inspire camaraderie among drummers and fifers. They are a non-profit.
That night, Simsbury-based jam band Stealhead will perform at Yarde Tavern. The band specializes in covers and original sets. Their sound incorporates jazz, blues, and progressive rock. The Yarde Tavern is known for its wings, chili, and ever-changing selection of beers.
Both events are on June 20. The fundraiser jam starts at 4pm and ends at 11pm. Steal Head will perform at 9pm. Musicians and the venues that host them use poster printing to advertise when various acts will be at the venue.
