The seven-person folk band Eavesdrop will travel to Enfield in April to perform. This performance will take place at the city’s own Yarde Tavern.
Eavesdrop was originally a trio consisting of vocalists Laura Buchanan, Kerrie Bowden, and Kara Rose Wolf. The debut EP, The Afterglow, proves how well their voices work together in shaping soulful lyrics into timeless Americana songs.
The band has since expanded several times and released two full albums - Tides and the self-titled Eavesdrop. The former album speaks about important life events for the band, while the latter shows how the band’s growth is bringing out a more powerful sound.
As of now, the band consists of the three aforementioned vocalists, along with guitarist Jared Quinn, keyboardist Darby Wolf, bassist Marc Seedorf, and drummer Andrew Ricketts. They are continuing to write music, perform, and travel around their local area and beyond.
The Yarde Tavern offers Enfield residents and beyond traditional pub food, home-style dishes, and 80 varieties of beers. Visitors can watch games on the 14 LED televisions, listen to live music, and participate in events such as trivia.
