Marketing workshop calls out to entrepreneurs

Boss Camp, a marketing and branding seminar, will be happening next month in Hartford.

All entrepreneurs from across Connecticut, including the cities of Springfield and Enfield, are welcome to attend.

The workshop has been designed for small business owners, and professionals interested in launching their idea, or refocusing their careers. It will be led by Yuslendy Suriel, a fellow entrepreneur and marketing professional. Lectures and panel discussion topics will include:

- brand building and designing a personal brand
- features included in successful branding
- how marketing and branding differ
- what to include in a successful business plan
- how to sell a product or idea to another company
- effective business proposals
- how to trademark an idea
- proper business structure and best practices of successful companies
- developing a vision and creating a mission statement

The seminar will involve a fashion show and the opportunity to purchase products from onsite vendors. Retailers may distribute Promotional Products during the event. The Boss Camp workshop will be held on Sunday, May 16 at Fancy Events Décor and Florist, located at 775 Silver Lane in East Hartford. The event will run from 1:00 to 6:00 PM, and will include light refreshments. Tickets start at $75.00 per person, and are available on the Eventbrite website.
