Library hosts July events for all ages

The Enfield Public Library has several programs occurring in the month of July.

The library will host a movie on the lawn with a drive-in theme at 9:00 pm on July 12. The event is free of charge and the movie will be Disney Pixar’s Wall-E. The library is located at 104 Middle Road and guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks. If it rains, the movie will be shown inside at 6:30 pm. Although library hours end at 5:00 pm, the front lobby will be open at 6:00 pm. Registration is not required.

The following day, July 13, the Enfield Garden Club is hosting Butterflies Storytime. Guests can learn about the winged insects and listen to stories about them starting at 10:00 pm. Children ages three and over can create art with a butterfly theme and will go home with the materials needed to plant parsley, which is one of the plants tiger swallowtail butterflies enjoy. Again, no registration is required

The Traveling Lantern Theater will perform ‘My Mother the Astronaut’ at the library on July 18 at 1:30 pm. The story is about Aquarius who goes to work with his mom, who is an astronaut. The tickets are free for children age five and over.

Libraries often use flyer printing to advertise events both to the public and inside the building. Children’s' activities tend to have Flyers that are colorful and noticeable.
