There are multiple events occurring in Enfield before the month ends
Residents can now sign up for one of the multiple story time events. Story times start on January 28 and vary by age and time. Two-year-old story time will be on Tuesdays at 9:30 am or Thursday at 10:30 am. Three-year-olds can attend on 10:30 am on Tuesdays or Thursday at either 9:30 am or 1:30 pm. Four year olds can join the three-year-olds on Thursdays at 9:30 am or 1:30 am, and can also join the five-year-olds at 1:30 pm on Tuesdays. Each will take place in the Enfield Public Library's Children's Room. Children must have a guardian with them and can only attend one story time each week.
Tomorrow, January 16, the Enfield Quilters will meet for their monthly gathering. It will take place at 7:00 pm in Hazardville Methodist Church and will cover binding quilts, show and tell, challenges, and future community projects.
At 6:00 pm on January 18, the Enfield Senior Center on Elm Street will host the Dukes of Hazardville. A local band will play oldies for guests to dance to and enjoy. There will also be coffee and dessert. The cost is $10.
The center will also host private meetings with lawyers from 10:00 am until noon on January 30.
