The North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Enfield are holding a luncheon at the Holiday Inn, Springfield/Enfield on May 30 from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm. Tickets are $15.
The featured speaker at the luncheon will be Connie Nappier, who was a member of the historic Tuskegee Airmen; a group of African-American pilots from World War II. It will be a chance for those in attendance to hear directly from someone who has made history.
This will also be a great networking event for members of the Chamber, the Rotary Club, and local business leaders. Business card printing is recommended for those in Enfield who plan to attend networking events such as this. Cards must be in pristine condition and each person should bring at least 50 to every networking event they attend. Handing out Business Cards is not enough on its own though, every card that is exchanged should be followed up on either that day or the next morning.
Most people will be attending to hear the guest speaker but there is no reason why they can't talk a little business before and after the speech.
