Two annual events are coming up in Enfield in the same weekend.
The Wine and Food Lovers Weekend helps fund local media and is in its 35th year. Northampton's Provisions will offer more than 200 craft beers, ciders, and wines for guests to sample at the MGM Springfield. Multiple chefs from the local area will provide food in the style of tapas.
One hour before the start of the main attraction, Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms will feature a raw bar and champagne at Sip and Slurp for VIPs. Scott Shucks will be the special guest.
The final day of the weekend, Amy Traverso will host a dinner complete with seven courses with a Weekends at Yankee flair. Provisions will provide wine pairings. The money raised will go toward WGBY, New England Public Media, and the NEPR New Alliance. To buy tickets and ask for more information, visit the WGBY website.
The Home and Product Show has been a yearly event for 51 years. This year, it will be at 90 Elm Street in the Enfield Square. This event is free to attend. Individuals and organizations can register to participate by calling 860-741-3838.
The Wine and Food Lovers Weekend is on March 6 and March 7 at 6:00 pm. The Home and Product Show will take place on March 7 and 8.
