Enfield to host 2024 Fourth of July celebrations
The Enfield Fourth of July Town Celebrations Committee will be hosting a three-day festival to celebrate the most important holiday in the calendar.
According to Nick Daddona, the director of the organizing committee, this year’s funfair will be filled with loads of fun-packed activities for attendees of all ages.
Adult attendees can look forward to live music concerts, sports tournaments, a cooking show, morning yoga sessions, and Zumba. Meanwhile, kids will undoubtedly enjoy child-centric activities including face painting, bouncing castles, scavenger hunts, bike decorating contests, and races designed specifically for them.
Teens will also be treated to an exclusive fire show, trivia games, a purpose-built video game trailer, a silent disco, a basketball tournament, and a range of thrilling outdoor games. At the end of the three days of festivities, everyone will have a front-row seat to a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by Zambelli Fireworks International.
Through the festival, the organizing committee will offer local food vendors, artists, print shops, and other businesses a venue to showcase their products and services to the locals.
This year's celebrations are set to start on a Friday evening, July 5, and conclude at 9:45 pm on Sunday, July 7th. Admission to the celebrations is free for all who attend with a shuttle bus service available between the Enfield Square Mall and Town Green.
