A local winery is set to host an evening calligraphy class for beginners this July in Enfield.
The event is Sip and Script Beginner Calligraphy at the R Dee Winery. It welcomes all members of the public who would like to learn beautiful script writing for Invitations, letters, home décor, or any other art or graphic design projects that could benefit from the effects of calligraphy. Patrons will have the opportunity to learn to write using a dip pen and ink.
Each student may look forward to a live demonstration from a professional writer, after which they may practice on their own. Attendees will each be provided with a beginner kit, which includes a pen, ink, writing paper, and tracing paper. There will also be a straight pen holder to assist with easier writing. Both left and right-handed writers are welcome to the session.
Alongside the classroom tuition, those in attendance are also welcome to purchase food and drink from the venue, or can bring their own food.
The cost for registration to this event will be $70. This is available on the event’s listing on the Sip and Script website.
This event will take place on Wednesday, July 12, beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at 7:30 pm. The R Dee Winery is located at 504 Hazard Avenue, Enfield.
