The town of Enfield is set to host a Veterans´ Day Parade this November.
The event will take place through major thoroughfares across the city, as residents come together to celebrate those who have served their country in the military. The Parade will commence from Enfield Street School, proceeding north on Enfield Street, and concluding at the Enfield Town Green. At the Town Green, a wreath ceremony accompanied by a gun salute will take place.
The public is welcome to line the parade route with their U.S. Flags and participate in the wreath laying ceremony hosted by the Enfield Veterans Council at the Town Green. In case of adverse weather conditions, the Wreath Ceremony will be relocated to Enfield High School.
Additionally, before each parade, members of the American Legion Post 80 and Post 154 will perform military gun salutes at Enfield's cemeteries. For those interested, contact any of the individuals mentioned above to obtain details regarding salute locations and approximate timings. The event will be free for all to attend, and all ages are welcome.
When organizing events like this one to honor veterans in the area and nearby, poster printing can be used as a method of alerting local residents and appealing to them to take part.
The event will take place on November 11, beginning at the Enfield Street School. This is located at 1318 Enfield Street, Enfield Connecticut. The parade is set to begin at 11:00am.
