There are multiple events happening in February and March in Enfield.
On Monday, February 11, the Enfield Public Library will host a workshop called Digital Data Detox. Beginning at 6:30 pm, it is designed to help people regain control of their digital lives, perhaps because they have agreed to terms and conditions they did not read and advertisements have targeted their personal lives. Sam Lee, reference librarian, will lead the workshop on how to detox digitally.
Rhyme Time is the next day at the same time, and will last for a half hour. It will include songs, nursery rhymes, and finger play. Caregivers and parents can bring children up to two years of age to build language skills early. All programs at the library are free, and interested patrons can visit the library's website or contact the reference desk for more information.
At 8:30 am until 1:00 pm on March 2 is The Agricultural Summit of Northern Connecticut. The Enfield Agricultural Commission and Asununtuck Community College is sponsoring the event, which will be held at the community college. The theme is Farming for Future and it is tailored to current and future farmers in the area. The Connecticut Farm Bureau Association's executive director Bryan Hurlburt will speak at the event.
Organizations often hand out promotional Pens to advertise their services around Enfield, hoping to bring in more people to participate in events.
