Enfield entertains while eating

Food and celebration are going to be the highlight of November in Enfield, with a concert at Joanna's and a Thanksgiving dinner.

New England tribute band Aquanett is coming back to Joanna's to perform a metal and rock show. The public are welcome to enjoy a night of live entertainment.

There is a $10 cover charge to get into Joanna's. Customers must be age 21 or over and must present ID at the door.

The band has specialized in rock music from the 1980s for more than two decades. Examples of the bands they cover include Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Skid Row, and Poison. The band travels around the North-eastern United States and hopes to perform in other parts of the country.

The Thompsonville Moose Lodge Chapters 1302 and 1525 will host a Thanksgiving dinner for senior citizens. They feed more than 100 people including staff, and also need items for the multiple raffles they will hold. Those interested in donating for the raffle can call (860) 749-4062 or contact the lodge on Facebook. The lodge is located at 124 South Road.

The doors to Joanna's will open at 7:30 pm on November 14 for the Aquanett show. Aquanett will play at 8:30 pm and the concert will end at midnight. The senior Thanksgiving dinner will take place on November 22 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
