The Artioli car dealership of Dodge Ram and Chrysler is hosting the yearly Shine Mopar Show and Innovators Show at its location in Enfield next month.
For the 12th year of the Mopars In Motion event. It will feature a DJ, activities for families, and raffles. The dealership is at 525 Enfield Street.
Mopar stands for "motor parts" and is a branch of Fiat Chrysler that caters to custom car designs and creations. All Mopar and American Motor Corporation cars and trucks are eligible to participate in the show, and one of the show classes will include non-Mopar vehicles. Three trophies for each of the more than 19 classes are available to win along with Best in Show, and the first 100 vehicles will receive dash plaques.
It is free to attend and look around. Members of Mopars in Motion can show vehicles at no charge, while non-members pay $15.
Mopar in Motion club members make up the volunteer crews that run shows. The club is grateful for all who volunteer, and stresses that their assistance is always needed. Lunch is provided for all show volunteers.
